Terri P. My dog is not only a part of the family but a very important security and safety feature for my household. We never want to leave him anywhere with anyone else. He is a big dog and was at a kill shelter, then rescued and finally adopted by us. This family listened to our concerns; watched and played with him constantly; were concerned when he wouldn't eat and attempted to teach him new things and also let him swim which he does at home. Constant communication was given with great pictures of our big guy. Even simple things like keeping his own things with him and letting him sleep in as closely simulated to home as possible were a sign that they cared and were paying attention. Even helping me with the loading and unloading. We will use them again for our precious cargo. Can't give a higher recommendation...and I'm picky.
Clara N. I would like to thank Elaine and Jim for taking care of our 2 dogs (Goldendoodle and Minischanuzer) while we were away on vacation. Prior to using Jim Corso's puppy ranch facilities we used to board our dogs in a place where they stayed in a kennel all day and I was looking for a place where they could be dogs, roam free and have fun. Neither crates or kennels were acceptable for us. When I learned about this place I was very excited and when I took them there for Jim and Elaine to meet them I was convinced that that was the perfect place for us. Jim introduced this pack of 4 dogs (one by one) to our dogs, he analyzed their behavior as (obviously) if you have a dog with food, toy or any kind of aggressive issues you couldn't bring it there as they all interact and play all day long. Elaine kept me posted daily by sending me pictures and videos, they were in dog heaven running, playing and making new friends! They were actually exhausted when we picked them up and spend most of the day napping at home. I am very happy with their service and I will continue using them for boarding and recommending them to my friends and neighbors.
John B. You can really tell they love the dogs!! - they have a very large area for them to play and seems as though their built in pool has "gone to the dogs" - Elaine mentioned that she could remember when a person was in it , but their guest are most days. Would highly recommend them.

Christy K. This was the first time leaving our dog Si with strangers, but meeting with Elaine for the first time I was at complete ease. It is obvious that the other dogs that they were caring for were very happy and well taken care of. Si was with them for 5 nights. Elaine sent me pictures everyday interacting with the other dogs, which was nice. If Si could talk, I am sure he would tell us he had a great time. Since we got him back, he has been exhausted or he is giving us the cold shoulder for leaving him, but doubt that. I am sure he played hard! I would definitely trust leaving him again with Elaine knowing that he is well taken care of and I thank them very much!

Haley T. My 11 month old puppy had an absolute blast at Corso Jim's!!! I felt like I was dropping my dog off on a little mini vacation as well, so my vacation was guilt free! I would get pictures and videos daily of Flapjack enjoying himself in the pool and playing with the other puppies! All the dogs got a long great and it was a great social experience for my dog. You could tell they spent a lot of time and energy playing with the dogs and keeping them safe. Their setup is like a doggie paradise, will use them for all our furbaby future stays. Valerie K. Well organized and very communicative. Liked that she wanted to meet before the stay. Also reported how the dogs were eating and their interaction with other dogs. One of our dogs experienced separation anxiety and would not eat. Elaine tried numerous tactics to persuade her to eat until she found something that worked. There is a facility dedicated for dogs' visits with ability to section off, if needed. I highly recommend her services!

Tonya O. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for this place! I boarded my 11 month old German Shepherd for four days at Elaine's and it could not have been a better experience for my dog and myself. My boy is a high energy pup and other boarding places don't provide sufficient playtime or activities for him. Not so with Elaine. She sent me video and photo updates and even taught my dog how to swim in the pool. Not only are the facilities clean, spacious and safe, but Elaine really knows dogs. I left feeling completely confident that my dog was in good hands. In fact, I would call boarding here more of a doggy vacation than a boarding experience.

Vanessa W. Elaine was great. We met before hand since one of our dogs "can" be a problem. They introduced their dogs one by one and ours did great, no problems at all. They sent lots of pictures and updates during their stay. I was a little worried about our husky as she can be extremely stubborn and headstrong and didn't want her to be too much of a hassle as I know she can be. When we picked our pups up, we weren't sure we were getting the right dogs back. Elaine said our husky was great, listened, came in with everyone else and was not stubborn at all. She said our Aussie was a dainty eater when at home usually slobber and food is everywhere. Elaine is truly a dog whisperer. Our pups were also pooped out for a good two days which was nice :). We will definitely use them for our future vacations !
Lisa W. As soon as I stepped out of my car the day of our Meet and Greet, I knew that this was the perfect place for my dog, Jinx. The big open yard is perfect for running and playing with the other dogs. I knew immediately after meeting Elaine and her husband, Jeff, that my dog would be in good hands. It was a great relief to know that I could relax and enjoy my trip without feeling bad about leaving Jinx behind because she was having a fun vacation too. Diana B. We left our 13-year-old Shih-tzu, Ozzy, with Elaine for 6 days while we were on vacation in July of this year. Elaine was so very friendly over the phone with helping me make these arrangements and even invited me over to take a tour of the place before our vacation. She accommodated us by allowing us to drop Ozzy off at 7:00 a.m. so we could catch an early flight out, and also allowed us to pick him up as late as 9:00 p.m. on the day of our return, all of which was very helpful, because we didn't have to rush. During our stay, Elaine sent at least 10 pictures of Ozzy playing with the other dogs, hanging out with her and her husband and generally having a great time. It really comforted me to know that he was safe and happy and being well taken care of. When we picked him up, he seemed happy and comfortable, and she also accepted debit card as payment, which was convenient. I will definitely use Elaine as our dog sitter from now on every time we go out of town. She was amazing :)

Rachel R. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and Elaine. Sciante was a senior dog who needed a lot of love and patience and he got that here. I got pictures and messages every day. It is bittersweet, because shortly after bringing him home I had to put Sciante down. He had a wonderful sixteen years on earth and I'm so glad this was the place that took care of my baby during his last few weeks of life. I even had another long stay scheduled for August, hoping he would have made it that long. I don't have a pet anymore, but if I ever get another, I know exactly where I would take him.

Laurie S. Elaine kept our 2 dogs for 5 days. They have a huge area for the dogs to play in and even had a pool for them to swim in. Every day she sent us photos and text messages keeping us updated on how they were doing. She even special made one of my dogs food (after checking with us) after she noticed he wasn't eating much. Elaine was agreeable when we needed to switch Riley's stay to a different weekend. The very day we dropped Riley off he learned to swim, fetch, and made new friends. He loved playing with the other dogs and cat. We did not worry about him being lonely, cooped up in a kennel because Elaine e-mailed me photos of Riley throughout his vacation having fun.
